Wicker Park: 

If your plans take you northwest, don’t skip the James Beard Award-winning speakeasy vibes at The Violet Hour (1520 N Damen Ave). With a single entryway and an ever-changing mural outside, you’ll find prohibition-style cocktails and good times within.  

To keep your night of cocktails going, stroll over to The Up Room (2018 W North Ave). Situated on the Robey Hotel’s rooftop, it offers a chic cocktail selection in an art deco space with one of the best views in the city.
